I break down the critical differences between free AI tools (which retain and own client data) versus agency-contracted, HIPAA-compliant platforms, and why practitioners must always review AI-generated notes before signing off.

Moving beyond clinical practice, I examine how AI intersects with environmental justice, highlighting how data center resource demands impact vulnerable communities—making responsible AI use a macro social work issue.
